answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that
comes from the mouth of God.’” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”-this was after the devil himself quoted scripture. Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”
11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. Each time he responds with the word of God. To be able to do that in prayer with God and when addressing the devil as he does his best to wreck us, we must know the Word. Let’s try to learn and memorize His Word, it is the sword of the Spirit and it is the only offensive weapon in the whole armour of God mentioned in
